EMCOMM REQUIREMENTS

ARRL ARECC level 1, FEMA ICS 100, required by January 1^st .

ICS 200, 700, 800 is only required if you plan on being deployed out of Brevard County.

This training certification is necessary in order to heighten the state of readinessof Amateur communicators and increase the level of professionalism of Field Volunteers so as to meet more effectively the needs of the served agencies. All training requirements must be met by January for all ARES members and appointees of record as of 7.

Back Ground checks conducted by The RED CROSS or the Brevard office of emergency management will be required.

Any person not meeting all these requirements will not be eligible for deployment.
