National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
North Brevard Amateur Radio Club was ask by the NSBE to provide a electronic workshop with hands on soldering on a amateur radio receiver kit and show amateur radio equipment to 45 high school students that sign up for the workshop at the NSBE convention in Orlando FL. on March 19 thought March 21st.
On March 21st at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando FL. NBARC held the workshop. Wynn WB4ZUY who is a electrical engineer and a club member supervised the workshop. His assistants were Lyle K4TGO, John K4PUN, and Bob N6USP President of NBARC.
NSBE provided the AR2N6 kits to the students. The AR-2N6 is a amateur radio 2/6 meter radio receiver kit.
The workshop was a huge success.
